How do I pay for the decals? How do you know what image submitted goes to what purchase order?
Still working out all the bugs, but this is how it works right now and has worked for us for a while now. Submit your artwork to us via the instructions on the following page. While submitting them, provide details about the image that we can use to track them in our system. Once we respond back requesting you to complete the purchase, simply go to our storefront linked on the following page and enter in how many decals you would like to purchase in the quantity field. If required, also purchase Digitizing & Vectorizing Services OR just Vectorizing Service Only. There are only three items to purchase on the storefront, so it shouldn't be too difficult, but as always, email us if you have any questions! Note that free shipping will automatically be calculated in the checkout system with decal quantities over 300. Upon checking out, let us know in the comments field on the Please select the payment method page which image you submitted to us via email, which will allow us to link your emailed submission to your order - this is VERY important!
What forms of payment do you accept?
We deal with PayPal and Google Checkout for payment, which means if you run a website that accepts PayPal payments or donations, you can pay for the decals directly from your PayPal account. If you prefer to use a credit card and not sign up for PayPal, Google Checkout works quickly and accurately. We never see any of your financial information with either processor, so you can rest assured in your purchase.
What about shipping, how's that work?
Shipping is $8.95 to anywhere in the continental U.S. If you need shipping elsewhere, contact us first and we will get a quote for you. Spend over $300 per order and shipping is free. Spend over $1,000 in any one order, and shipping is free for life. Let the post office make money, it isn't a profit source for us like the other guys! Orders ship out every Monday morning, giving us enough time to put everything together during the week then cut out the decals and package them up on the weekends.
This must be cheap vinyl for you to get away with these prices....
Not really! We go the extra step and use Oracal 651 vinyls for most colors, or similar when it isn't available. Oracal 651 is good for 6 years, is 2.5mil thick, and provides a high gloss application that looks great indoors or out. Want a specialty color, reflective, metallic, or other? Email us and we'll be reasonable on the price, sometimes only $2 per decal, or Decals for a Buck times two! All decals are mounted using clear transfer tape to high visibility before applying them, not the cheap opaque yellow stuff that won't release the decal during application.
Can I make just one? What about 10 in 5 different colors?
No, we operate by production scheduling to be able to provide you with Decals for a Buck, so we require a minimum of 50 pieces if you pay for digitizing and / or vectorizing services, 100 if you don't. The minimums are per color also, typically customers choose black or white (or both) as they stand out the most. Once we have you in the system after you've placed your first order, you can get 50 decals at a time per color from then on.
Will you make any decal for me?
Sure, as long as you have the rights to use it! For example, if you're name isn't Bill Gates, we can't make the Microsoft logo for you in volume. If you get permission from Microsoft, however, and submit it to us prior to placing an order, we'll be glad to make them! And anyways, why would you want us to make hundreds of decals for you of something you don't have the rights to, you can't like Microsoft that much to want 500 decals made....
How BIG are these decals, can I make one 23,746,985 inches long for only $1?
No, but we will certainly work with you on sizing. Typically our customers like 8-10" wide by 2-2.5" tall decals because they display nicely on vehicles, laptops, spiral notebooks, doors, etc. Square or round shaped logos, like the Apple logo or a Honda emblem can be made as big as 4" on each side for our $1 rate. We thought about making a maximum square inch law, but we've broken all the other rules and hurt every other vinyl graphics shop's feelings, so if we can make it for $1, we will!
Is digitizing / vectorizing really free?
Yes and no. If you've got a great, high resolution logo we can click to vectorize, we'll do it at no charge to you. If you're just starting out and have a logo like we did on the previous page to be digitized then vectorized, our services run only $35 for each, a one-time fee. Compare that to $50 per hour for most digital transfers, and we're the cheapest around, well, next to your niece who went to school for graphic arts.... We do not provide you with your vectorized image, they are backed up three times on our computers though!
